Not Much to Ask – a Public Health Campaign for Commuters
During the height of the COVID pandemic, the NSW government implemented a mandatory face mask policy for passengers travelling on public transport. ‘Not Much to Ask’ is a public awareness campaign to support the policy. This project involved the creation of a series of visually engaging posters and billboards, strategically placed in areas with high commuter traffic, to reinforce the importance of mask-wearing in maintaining community health and safety.
Each poster and billboard depicts a different mode of public transport, constructed entirely from a collage of face masks. This approach was used to grab the attention of commuters and to symbolically represents the collective effort required to ensure a safe travel environment.
